In spite of our best efforts at talking ourselves out of it, we, a sort of typical suburban family, retained a pup from our first litter, Cordy- so named for his most evident cordial disposition. He is still so named, though the children would have preferred Cody and made a feeble effort at a switch-over, but we could not resist the habit of calling him by his originally given name and it continues to suit him.
We are currently raising a second litter of Kurly Saints and Cordy is a proud BIG brother. This litter was not intended either and I considered dropping the entire bunch on the doorstep of my former veterinarian’s office. However, they are a delightful little group and resemble their greatly loved parents and older brother too much to deny that their rightful place is here with the rest of the family until they come of age.
Having raised a puppy from the first litter and kept in contact with the other adoptive families, I can report on some things. I’m posting pictures of Cordy and have requested permission to post pictures of their pups on this site. I can tell you that Cordy weighs close to eighty pounds and is taller and broader than his mother. He will grow until he is two years old and may put on additional pounds in his third year. This is typical of giant breeds. I have been told that Balmy weighs nearly ninety pounds and have adorable pictures of him watching over his primary charge- the lovely adoptive family’s two year old son. These puppies have grown into beautiful dogs. As predicted, they all have the Kom (wooly, poodle-type) coat and are quite similar in appearance to a larger goldendoodle- and they do NOT drool! I’m delighted to report that I’ve received only positive feedback and requests for more puppies to date.

The Easter Bunny has an opportunity to be beyond sensational this year!
